Ralph und Stefan Heidenreich laden zu einer öffentlichen finalen Korrektur ihres neuen Buches ein. Es handelt sich um den Folgeband zu “Mehr Geld”, ebenfalls bei Merve. Das neue Buch, Arbeitstitel “Kein Geld”, hat drei Teile. Im ersten geht es um einen Blick auf die kommende finanzielle und politische Dystopie. Das zweite Kapitel widmet sich Fragen politischer Handlungsfähigkeit und Modellen nicht-revolutionärer Übergänge. Der dritte Teil diskutiert drei verschiedene Utopien: eine Job-Garantie, die alte Keynesianische Lösungen und die Idee staatlicher Intervention wiederbelebt, allerdings im Licht der Modern Monetary Theory; Grundeinkommen als Form des “helicopter money” und Lösungsweg, der von Investoren und der Finanzwelt favorisiert wird; und schließlich die etwas entferntere Utopie einer geldlosen Ökonomie ohne allgemeines Äquivalent, die mit Hilfe von Netzwerken, Algorithmen und intelligenten Objekten funktioniert.

Während dem Treffen werden die beiden Autoren den Text diskutieren, edieren und offene Fragen diskutieren. Korrekturen und Diskussion finden auf Deutsch statt.

Ralph and Stefan Heidenreich will conduct a final public editing of their second book, a followup to “Mehr Geld,” published in 2008 with Merve. The new book, aka “No Money,” is divided into three components. The first section provides a perspective on the dystopian financial and political situation that is quickly approaching. The second section brings together arguments on political agency and models of non-revolutionary transition. The third section discusses three disparate utopian models: the ‘job guarantee’ that would revive old state interventionist politics along the lines of JM Keynes, but under the guise of Modern Monetary Theory; the basic income, i.e. helicopter money, and the outcome favored by investors and big finance; and, finally, the remote and radical model that proposes an economy without money and lacking the general equivalent that would be driven by a network-based algorithmic approach and intelligent objects.

During the session Ralph and Stefan will be editing their text and discussing the core issues that remain unresolved. Attendees will be able to follow the editing process and participate in the conversation. The editing and discussion will take place in German.
